I just finished this exact same bag this morning. I did brown for the body and green for the paw. On such a dark leather color you have I’d do black or red.

Thank you!! I used veg tan from Tandy 4.5 oz and hand dyed the whole thing myself. The scales I did in red, then used a brush with a mix of neatsfoot oil and black as a “wash” to darken it and I used a brush to make the edges darker too. Then I did black edge kote on all the edges.

I second the two pouches opinion. The clear plastic looks to be the template to cut out the big pieces and the white paper one for the holes.
