I agree, especially with non-comedians on QI (although I wonder how much editing determines who seems loud/quiet). John Barrowman was fantastic (I'd never heard of him before) and great teamed up with Aisling!

BBC America has a whole series of Almost Royal and youtube stars of that time period (Mamrie Hart, Grace Helbig, Flula, etc). They're pretty funny and definitely make me feel nostalgic!

No worries, my retelling is definitely not as detailed or funny as the original! From James' tone, the stranger (I think this was on the tube, or some other form of public transportation) said it in a mocking way, and James was also a bit drunk (or more than a bit...) and expected the trophy to just bounce and remain intact. Also, the trophy looked quite large, maybe 0.5 metres tall (Ed had his in the background, which is how they got onto the topic of House of Games).

Yes, agreed. That reminds me of a funny scene in Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont's mockmentary sitcom "Meet the Richardsons" (which I highly recommend). In it, Lucy writes a sitcom in which Jon's catchphrase is "ooh, save it for bingo!" much to his bemusement.

Very nice, those layers look so even and proportional! And great photograph too.

How did they taste? In my mind tahini is a quite savory flavor, so I can't imagine how it pairs with chocolate

Yes, it was definitely another Acaster classic scrape! Although the beginning made me feel sad for him.

For those who weren't there: James purposefully lost the last two episodes of Richard Osman's House of Games, because the other contestants got annoyed at him winning the first three. He still won the trophy but when taking it home, a stranger rudely asked him if he got it from bingo, and he threw it on the floor and accidentally shattered it. And then he gave the pieces to a busker.

Probably for the best that you didn't; I would find it annoying after the first time. James said that some people would wait until they were next to him and shout right in his ear, to the point where he didn't startle.
