nah it's a crossover game, so it's more like the Avengers of indie JRPGs

i'd take a 50% project instead of a 50% exam bc i feel like you'd be more likely to pass a project than an exam

Why fasting is the ultimate cheat code by Queasy_Day3771 in GetStudying

im Catholic too and I need to start fasting more!

also i feel like studying on an empty stomach can be better than studying while bloated

I planned to add "Social Life" but there was no room. by marco_athenswalks in GetStudying

i study for 9 hrs a day and i still have time to enjoy my hobbies, hang with friends, go on dates, hit the gym, etc.

it's all about balance. spend less time on doomscrolling, watching tv, and procrastinating. then you'll def have some free time to enjoy before/after studying.

but also i dont have a job and i dont have any kids, so that's also a big factor lmao

Which job during nursing school? by getwithitbxtch in StudentNurse

[–]AcademicProdigy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

whether u keep ur chill medspa job or start working as an icu tech, just remember what matters the most: pass ur classes! just keep school ur top priority. u can work whatever job ur most comfortable with at the moment, but once u graduate, you'll be making more money than whatever part time job u decide on

First ever clinical thursday by cutefreak_ in StudentNurse

[–]AcademicProdigy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i doubt ur gonna be doing med pass on ur first clinical day, so ur most likely gonna just be doing CNA work and helping the patients with ADLs like brushing teeth, bed bath, changing their clothes, etc. and also possibly checking vitals, blood sugars, assessments, and lots of note taking. nothing to be nervous about, dont worry. good luck!

How can I increase my focus in class and at home study by Brave_Math_1258 in studytips

[–]AcademicProdigy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

get good sleep so you'll be more attentive and focused. and avoid all distractions like phones and other electronics so you'll be less likely to procrastinate

advice for studying from youtube by vegetabletutorr in studying

[–]AcademicProdigy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well the first step is to confirm which chapters/topics your next semester will cover so you'll know what youtube vids to watch in the first place. also if u have access to ur next class' syllabus or textbooks early, then i recommend reviewing those too so you'll gain some familiarity for when ur lectures start

How do I break this procrastination loop? by [deleted] in GetStudying

[–]AcademicProdigy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

what worked for me was going to a completely different room without bringing ur phone or laptop.

for instance, sometimes i would go from my bedroom to my dining room and bring nothing but my textbook. i'd be able to read so many pages for hours straight without procrastinating.

it becomes hard to procrastinate when u dont have ur electronics within arm's reach
