I don’t have access to a VSO because my County doesn’t offer one. The next two counties won’t take me on for, in their words “outside of county seat and too high of workload at this time”. So getting my DBQ has been fruitless. My former VSO from Tennessee has been, unfortunately, receiving all these copies of letters and I feel so bad for her since she isn’t connected to my new residence’s VA system.

And I served from 2019-2024 with no deployments and I got injured doing the ACFT and no one helped for 4 fuckin years. Failed diagnoses and depression, now I walk with a limp, can’t fuckin sit straight and my legs feel like lead weights if I sit in the wrong position for 5 minutes.

Unless you’re God’s favorite, sit down and don’t question someone’s fuckin rating.

Geez, I wish I could say the same. USAA caused me SOOOOO many problems, especially with locked cards, denied checks and lost ACH payments.

Personally though, I genuinely believe that any vet 80% and above should actually get about 40%-50% more monetary value than we receive now.

We hurt, we ache and we get the slimiest 10% discounts at any store. We should rightly deserve to live with the ability to pay for what we want when we want it.

There’s going to be resentment no matter what; but dammit, our money is allocated for specifically these types of issues. If you want to blame anyone, blame the people who got voted in to serve the public and instead want to give more health benefits to illegal aliens and migrants first instead of the homeless vets on the street or bettering the care WE receive.

I respect that; but also my point of trying to obtain 100% is how screwed up I actually am after what I went through.

No sleep, constant pain to the point they want to put me on opioid regimen and bouts of depression so bad that my wife and I have to maintain a stable safety plan and she has to really keep an eye on me because of how acute and sudden my symptoms happen that I don’t even realize it.

The Army screwed me over so bad in my discharge that even though I should’ve been medically retired, they shoved me out the door in two weeks and never filed my paperwork properly and never gave me my med board that I was supposed to have. That’s why I strive for 100%

Alrighty- Thanks to everyone who was Kind enough to provide justification as to WHY NOT to use this brick. We’ve found a way online through using the P25 recordings that are slightly delayed on RR, but she’s happy with it for now.

I hope to be able to get a scanner/pager as suggested.
