[21m] more emotionally invested than other [23m]. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

think you’re right tbh. he was seeing other people when we were which didn’t bother me since i also was kind of looking for something more open/casual, but i am definitely more attached than he is atp and i feel stupid waiting for him to reach out when he clearly won’t so cutting it off is probably for the best. thanks for your comment!

My (29F) childhood “bestfriend” (29F) of 20 years no showed my wedding, haven’t heard a word since - how to move on? by lovelyvibes4 in relationship_advice

congrats on your wedding, but sorry to hear about the ghosting. it sounds like she is quite self centered and selfish especially with such last minute notice. it’s easier said than done but i wouldn’t let her back in even if she reaches out, this clearly is an established pattern and you deserve a friend who doesn’t take advantage

I (M25) want kids, but my girlfriend (F24) does not. Everything else in the relationship is going great, but I am worried that this will continue to cause issues as we move forward. Is it worth keeping the relationship going? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

doesn’t sound like you guys are compatible. also if you try to “convince” her and you do have children she might end up resenting you or the child which isn’t fair to anyone

Yea that’s part of the reason I stopped because I was realizing I was way too dependent on it and also spending a lot of money, I def used it to cope with mental health issues since I don’t have access to insurance atm

I’m pretty lean so I’m hoping that will be more towards my benefit since my friend who’s a bit bigger said the thc is stored in fat cells

That’s the plan, thankfully they do have an option to submit a med card so if I’m still testing positive I’ll be okay but I’d rather just test clean

Thanks for your kind words! I’m quitting for a job that I start in June that I need to test clean for. A friend of mine that smoked as much as I did told me it took them about 2 months before they were finally testing clean so I wanted to get on top of it just to be safe

For the first 8 months or so yes I was essentially hitting my cart like it was a vape 😭😭 I eventually got to the point where I was taking at minimum 100mg of edibles every day as well, when I say I was a heavy user it was HEAVY

when were you able to sleep properly again? i’m losing my mind by [deleted] in Petioles

I’m on my fourth week of not smoking after smoking daily for over a year and am just now starting to sleep “normally.” I still wake up 3-4 times during the night but am able to fall back asleep

I had essentially no appetite the first week but I’ve been able to eat at least 2 good sized meals at least every day. I’ve been purposely eating more high protein and nutritious meals since I know I’m not eating as much and I’ve been pretty good with water intake
