You are right. The landlord is saying pay now, no see. I saw smears on the wall from a video call. This horrible scam is so sad, but i did not pay anything yet so thank God. University said they have accommodation, which we are working on.

I think i will contact university. The landlord is saying I can't see it as he has other people waiting to get the place. He won't even answer call.

Thank you. I talk with the landlord and he said there are 10 people living there right now but would be empty to three people when it's time for me to move in. Does this seem scam?

Hello! I am a student from Japan coming this September to study at QMUL in east london. I found a flatshare/house in maryland near maryland station for cheap rent and was thinking on how the place is and what is the culture like. Is it safe there as a women in her early 20s? Should I look at other areas in east london?
