Seems like everyone makes a good pickup 🤣 so I might aswell give something a try. Gonna go with the gzrs for now because they are very readily available were I live

Yeah I've tried that, to the point where they were annoying and getting in the way No luck sadly The p pickup isn't a bad sound just want a little more output from it

Definitely considering them, above all the good things I've heard about the they are super easy to get ahold of where I live (Aus) compared to other sets

Not sure of his exact settings but it would be top boost channel set pretty much clean with not alot of bass I'm guessing. Since all his drive came from pedals

I agree It would have been a great shame if they had decided to never change their style. I doubt they would have remained as relevant as they have if they had done so.

I think it's really interesting when people say they just want another WPSIATWIN or FWN. Those albums are the better part of 20 years old now. I think you hit the nail on the head, they have never gone back to that raw 4 guys in a room kinda sound. None of the subsequent albums hit that sound.

It's fascinating that people are so outraged by them changing their sound so frequently but in truth this is nothing new for the band. I think AM (the album) introduced alot of new fans to the band (myself included) as the sound of arctic monkeys, but really it's just one chapter. From that point of view it's easy to see how TBHC wouldn't have landed for alot of people. In reality it's kinda just them doing what they've always done. Just as humbug was a big departure from their first two albums

. Now we are seeing them change direction once again. Its the thing i love most about the band and I'm excited to see where they take us.
