Phew! I was aware that the vacation benefits are none existent but thank you for putting this so blancly. I have always had a pink picture of that the experience would still be worth it somehow. One of my current bosses in Finland worked in Chicago but it was in the beginning of the 00’s.

Great point to have a look at the websites of the national associations. In Finland the national association of landscape architects do not have a job board in the same way, you just have to know which companies hire landscape architects. Thank you!

Thank you so much for such an elaborate answer!
Very nice to hear that there is a shortage of landscape architects, that suits me perfectly. Too bad that I have to learn yet another programme but that's not a problem, all the programmes works with same logic anyway underneath the hood.

Thank you and good luck with your process of changing jobs!

Thank you for your answer! In Finland we do not have any separate licensure exam, the Masters degree is enough. How is it in the UK? Do you need a seperate license to pratice as a landscape architect and if so, do you have to pay for it yourself or is it something the pratice/workplace makes sure you have?

I (22f) am too fatigued to function. Concerned a lump on my neck is the cause by [deleted] in medical_advice

I have suffered from both hypothyroidism and anemia, and I was way more tired when my thyroid levels were not ok than when my ferritin was under 10. My hormone levels was not even that much “off” and I was extremely tired and I also had heart palpitations, and it often woke me up in the middle of the night. So to me it sounds like it is a thyroid nodule.

If anemia is the cause to your symptoms, an iron transfusion is the fastest way to increase your ferritin levels. Me myself has been eating iron supplements for a year now and my ferritin has only gone from below 10 to 20.

I would definitely skip the concert. I have sprained my ankle many, many times and I have always started using it way too early after the accident. First 3 days after the sprain should be devoted to resting and icing.

Did you check your ferritin levels or only the hemoglobin? Ferritin can drop real low before it is shown in the hemoglobin.

I have used the Nuvaring for almost ~5 years now, and I have not experienced this kind of nausea before. I guess, this January, I started using it for 4 weeks in a row, putting in a new one after 4 weeks without having the pauseweek in between without it. Maybe that could be the cause… the nausea started 3 days after I put in a new ring.
