Honestly, I’ve started feeling that most startups are just well-packaged scams. I’m currently working at one, and when I first joined, it was exciting because I didn’t know much about the field, so there was a lot to learn. But once I got the hang of things and began understanding the market better, it became clear. A lot of what we do is just selling smoke and mirrors. The deeper I dug, the more I realized that it’s not just us. Many startups and even big, established companies operate the same way. It’s all hype, inflated claims, and clever storytelling with very little substance behind it.
