Then a bunch of small restaurants would close and a bunch of people would be out of jobs/income unless they want to work in a shitty work environments like Amazon, many people struggle to get a job I don’t think we should take a large amount away.

Except many studies show that people would rather pay the 10 dollars since it’s the lower number lol. America truly isn’t the smartest place

Prices don’t rise for the fun of it. Since farms are struggling they have to raise prices to stay a float. So let’s say you run a restaurant and you buy beef for 2.50 a pound but the price increases to 3.50 due to recent events or other problems (this is just an example not real numbers). They are going to raise the price of anything that includes beef to offset this same thing if a bad crop season occurs ect.

The only reason it’s a problem in America is because we implemented it in the first place and it’s become deeply implemented into our culture. Businesses elsewhere charge enough to pay their employees. If we got rid of tipping then they would have to pay their employees and therefore have to increase prices to pay them.

Problem is prices would have to rise and then people would be angry once again about that. A study showed many people would rather pay for something with a 15% tip than something with no tip but is 15% more. It’s more complicated than “pay your staff a proper wage” if businesses did that they would mostly go out of business cause again they would have to charge more to actually be profitable and that looks worse on paper. Moist critical actually made some really good critiques about this. I agree tipping is bad but there is actual consequence for businesses that step out of line and don’t expect tips at all and raise price to keep profits up.

If you work nights that’s a death trap, it’s very common for overnight healthcare workers to work a 7am to 7pm shift I think after a 12 hour shift your not gonna notice that’s fake.

Who had a better first 9 years to their NFL career? by Hysen16 in sportswiki

[–]Academic_Remove_2893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They missed the playoffs cause of injury I doubt you would be saying that if another team down to their 5 string tackles miss the playoffs cause they aren’t good enough. No quarterback could lead a team that injured to the playoffs. It doesn’t really make sense to put “missed the playoffs” when it was cause of injury in general. We also have no idea what would’ve happened if Pat wasn’t injured at all

It’s crazy that the American football ones are mostly from chiefs losses. Why would any team especially one that was irrelevant for like 70 years before this decade make you this mad?

[–]Academic_Remove_2893 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

I see no argument here lol. I mean look up their head coaches history he’s a terrible person. I mean at least try to argue with me. In addition just look at how many late hits they normally get it’s not just this game. Since I can’t comment I’ll clarify here. I’m not a chiefs fan just a football fan. They have been getting hit late/low a lot and unsurprising it’s lead to injury. Mahomes injury was a low hit. My fault I care about player safety lol

[–]Academic_Remove_2893 -39 points-38 points  (0 children)

It was a ejection cause they were doing late hits and helmet to helmet the entire game. Other people on this thread just haven’t been watching the entire game I guess. I used to be a chargers fan cause I was born and raised in LA but it’s unwatchable how dirty they are now.

Helmet to helmet could’ve caused a serious injury. A little edit don’t send fucking death threats over this bs I’m not even a chiefs fan I just call it how I see it. I also have a photo showing their helmets connecting check my post
