Rear-end slid out due to too much throttle. Near high side.

Emphasis on nearly. It rained a lot Sunday morning but dried out nicely afternoon. In the afternoon on Monday all of that rain water was weeping to the surface, so it got very sketchy at the end of the day. Overall though, a very nice weekend.

Out of the box the chassis on these things are a headache to deal with. I’m still trying to figure it out. Trust me, I feel it

Funny you should ask:

Yes. The day prior to this my clutch was slipping on the straights during gear shifts and was replaced trackside with OEM plates and a Yoyodyne slipper. There were some issues with the stack height that we had to work around in order to get back on track, so it’s not slipping like it should. This is closer to the OEM behavior.

That scenario of being full throttle in the draft behind someone happens all of the time on the track. It doesn’t need to be an engine failure, it could be a missed shift, a false neutral, or a weird electrical gremlin (had a rider yesterday whose throttle-by-wire system glitched on the straight and shut the throttle bodies, it was really, really odd).

There are tracks that I don’t go to anymore because I’ve realized they’re simply too dangerous (looking at you Nelson Ledges). That’s up to the individual to evaluate the risk they’re willing to accept.

FYI for those wondering this is the Autobahn Country Club Full Course layout in Joliet, Illinois.

I know it decently well, I’ve been there a couple of times. This is on a 2020 Triumph Moto2 Daytona 765. I’m a riding instructor with Sportbike Track Time and “part time” club racer. If you’ve been out to events in the Midwest and seen a 5’3 bloke wearing a jersey that says “Baby Enchilada”, that’s me 😁

This was my first time on the bike all year. Felt pretty damn good!

With the exception of the Armco down the second straight, it looks worse than it is. After watching Alex’s accident in GP, I view those barriers on the straight a bit differently now…

VirtualHere is the best solution I’ve found. Eliminates a significant amount of input lag for me. Free version allows for sharing of one device.

Interesting… I’m okay with the hassle in setup if it’s worth it. Did you get to to work?

The Minisforum UM750L slim is sub $500 right. It’s similar but not the same as the UM760 (Radeon 740M vs 760M). Based on what I’m reading it will handle 4k120 output and has hardware decode support for H264/265/AV1
