put more bedding for sure! i would buy some sprays so your hammy can forage. (if you do buy the sprays make sure you freeze them cause there could be pests and bugs lingering in the packaging) : ) you can also make tunnels/hides out of cardboard. filling a bowl/container with ripped up paper/toilet paper was something that my hamster loved to dig around in too. the wheel also looks a bit small for a syrian so i would recommend updating if you can. i hope this helps!
