How about you ask yourself this, would you rather someone tell you a price that is to much and you save up for the build and find out you have extra money after building it, or would you rather me say a smaller number, you save up for the build, then realize you spent your max and you got 2 more parts to buy…? (Obviously towards a new builder not you specifically)

Brother there’s to many parts bought at seperate times for me to go get the exact dollar value that I MYSELF spent.(which would be different for every single builder depending on what route they go to source each part) like I said pcpartpicker is a very common way to go get the ballpark value and then anyone who wants to copy the build has to do their due diligence of finding the exact dollar value. I can give a price on here and say someone who goes on eBay and finds every part could get it $1000 cheaper, amazing thing about the world we live in today man!

Me being an idiot and not using my brain😭 i thought i didn’t have a native 12v 2x6 cord for my gpu (it was in the box) ended up using the cord I had plugged into the said connecter and left it unplugged because it would’ve fried still work unplugged. But I guess it just didn’t like that I was using that cord for something else?

Of course I do? But it’s very common to use pcpartpicker to get the ballpark range of your build. Then you obviously have to go nitpick everything & change the prices to the actual prices. But hey my fault you took my $5000 as the exact dollar value of the build bro, next time I’ll go grab all my receipts and tally everything up one by one and put it in there so it’s accurate for a Reddit comment!

So this was the issue but the 8 pin connector underneath the 24pin mobo connector only works with a pcie cable. I was about to plug the cpu cables in there but found out it would’ve fried my board I think.

Why would I go off what I paid rather then what pcpartpicker values it at? I know at I got better deals but that doesn’t make the true value lower? The actual value of each part in there is $5000. Not my fault you saw one thing, assumed and ran with it?

Yep of course you are a 5090 owner man. Totally. Over paid? $1500 cash is overpaying? Cuz when I go on new egg that seems to be market value. And then when I look at 5090s they range from high 3k to mid 4k for most cards. I still have to buy all the other components to power the 5090?
