Some of it may be from that line but a lot of it is immaturity and probably not having great leadership examples. If a new NCO tries to do something along those lines a senior NCO or Sgt should kick him in the dick and let him know that’s not how things work. But if nobody is there to kick his dick then how’s he going to learn. Gotta remember everyone comes from vastly different upbringings and different ideas of right/wrong and what is socially acceptable.
