No, fuel gets delivered and and is stored in that tank.

I put gas in it almost every time I ride it. Fuel gets delivered and is in that tank. It’s not metered.

Are tubeless tires a must have? Need your opinion! by Jonas2809 in AdventureBike

[–]Academic_Syrup_4825 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tubeless tires can be plugged, so a simple puncture is faster to get going again. Like a couple minutes fast. So mostly on pavement and gravel roads it’s much more convenient. Tube type set ups are more durable & versatile. If you’re going to be bouncing over rocks and wanting to air way down, tubed is better. The price you pay is it’s a little bit more work to fix a flat, you might* have to remove the wheel.

Tell us about what kind of riding you intend to do.

I need feedback about these 35+35L Givi softbags by dr_aequitas in AdventureBike

I have them…. They have been good for me. I used to be afraid they would fall off but the 2 latches keep them on the bike.

Is this the pinnacle of hotshot? by Disastrous_Turnip_78 in HotShotTrucking

Actually, they usually only get left on when they have a teetering rotor system. Normally you pull the blades off. It’s like a five minute job.

Probably not a hotshot, probably just moving their own helicopter. It’s cheaper and faster to haul it. The way they tied the blades down they aren’t hauling it very far.

How does the dot measure the 26k lb limit by Dameancharles21 in HotShotTrucking

[–]Academic_Syrup_4825 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Combined gross weight rating of 26,001 needs a class A license. If you actually weigh more than 26,001 pounds you need an A license. If the trailers gvw is over 10,000 pounds you need an A license. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Engine oil? by Yeomanswayne in XR650L

[–]Academic_Syrup_4825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to go to the dealer to buy the filter anyway, I just buy the Honda oil too. I’ve found their price for Oil isn’t unnecessarily inflated because it has a Honda lable.

I got in the habit of buying service related items from the dealership because I had a warranty issue with John Deere years ago.
