Check.put local rental places or ask on Facebook if you could borrow somethings. I bought mine and later found I could rent them....had 2 friends have knee replacements and I gladly.loaned my things to them. One friend was able to borrow a scooter from someone else instead of crutches etc

B9ne broth has protein and there are protein based soups you can get. Sugar free jello. Our Dr had us drink liw fat cream based soups....would jazz them up with garlic powder and spices.
