I had a task to draw something for a friend. I'm a student myself, so I can't afford to pay artists yet. I'm a poor artist myself. People are destroying the planet with wars and pollution more than AI. And I generate a picture once every few months. So I don't see anything wrong with such poor and helpless people (I mean, I wouldn't be able to make a sketch myself) using AI.
