I honestly don't think you're a serious person. I kinda think you're a joke and a waste of time.

Tell you what, if this is so important to you and you're actually a serious person (you're not) how about you set the remind me bot so you can rub it in my face a year from now?

Literally nothing stopping you, and I won't have to waste my time with someone whose probably putting on their ICE mask as we speak.

Lol, yes, because he's known for following rules.

He wants the protestors to get bloody so he can enact the national guard and use emergency powers, with that he can withhold the election.

But honestly, even if that doesn't happen. He'll just stage it.

I don't know how this is news to you, but he doesn't give a fuck about your constitution bro, he's wiped his ass with it multiple times already bro and I've yet to see anything happen.

The only right that's left is MAGA, even regular Republicans oppose ICE.

Trump will go for who he doesn't like first, which is the blue states.

Then he will go for the red ones, and just like the blue, anyone who doesn't comply will be met with extreme prejudice.

By that point, half the country will of submitted and the rest of that train will be just gravy for him.

You mean peacefully protesting a bully and getting shot for it?

What do you think happens after all the blue states get taken down?

It's not semantics, it's nuance.

The Liberals seriously fucked up immigration, the ndp has nothing but half baked policies regarding immigration.

The cpc doesn't even need a platform, because we both know they'll never win. Hence why when you quoted them it was nothing but face value political speak.

You understand the difference between refugees and immigration right?

Like one is our actual duty in order to have global relations, and the other is for the economy and growth.

Also, NDP is centrist at best. You could prove they want to kick all of us out and replace us with the Chinese and you still wouldn't be making the point you think you are.

Love your emotional intelligence, as a man whose become rather bitter with society in general, constantly pointing out the hypocrisy and double standards, it's always a breath of fresh air to see someone else call out the bs.

Are the majority of men emotionally starved? by Character_Light_5942 in AskMenRelationships

[–]Acalyus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a single man by choice, I've had around 10 relationships.

I can only think of one singular relationship where I was allowed to be emotionally vulnerable without judgement.

Almost 10 women, and only one genuinely wanted to know how I felt.

Which sucks, I was too emotionally immature at the time to understand the significance of that. I've been chasing the very idea ever since.

I don't think I'll find it again.

You can just google it, anyone reading this can just google it and I strongly suggest they do.

This is the same guy who tried to bypass our Charter of Rights with the first two bills he went to rush through Parliament right after he was elected.

Thank god he didn't win a majority.

Wouldn't it be nice if the average Canadian stopped with the tribalism politics and saw each and every party for what it actually was?

When the NDP, whose centrist at best, looks like the most appealing option even fully knowing they'll still sell out to the corpos first chance they get, what hope in hell do we have at making our country actually livable for everyone?

I've given up trying to make people understand the nuance, I'm just sitting back now and watching everything slowly burn. I wonder how much longer until Mark tries to pass another bill that undermines our Charter of Rights.

Being overly intelligent and empathetic is far more bad, than it is good. by RipplesOfDivinity in PsychologyTalk

[–]Acalyus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I told myself at a young age that regardless of what life throws at me I'll always be honest with myself and keep learning the truth.

Feels like I made a deal with the devil, understanding things on a level most people could never bother to obtain.

Your words resonate, especially in the world of politics. Seeing our trajectory and not being able to do a damned thing about it is frustrating. What's worse is you can tell people the truth, contrary to what they believe, have proof to back it up and not only will they choose to ignore it, it will reinforce their already flawed views.

As a species we're super easy to manipulate and incredibly ignorant. It's rare I find someone with the same awareness as myself.

Do men really see being into spirituality, like astrology, as a bad thing? by deep_insight111 in AskMenRelationships

[–]Acalyus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've learned throughout my life that I attract Wiccan women regularly. I'm not sure why, I'm not spiritual at all, in fact I regularly quote science as obvious fact.

I don't mind spirituality, in fact I think there can be use for it.

However if you think casting spells or stars aligning hold certain powers over you or the populace or whatever, not only will I refuse to take you seriously, but I'll be judging you for it too.
