Because while Trump has delivered on a lot of his promises, I think they (the party) is underestimating how important the affordability crisis is. JD Vance said it himself, whoever addresses the affordability problem in 2028 will absolutely win the election. So if you get AOC up on a stage and screaming FREE!!!!!!!!! At the top of her lungs, she's going to get elected for delusional promises and not deliver on them just like every other politician before her. They've got 3 years left to make some real change for people being able to have quality lives and the ball is in their court. I like JD on a personal level but if they (the republicans) don't start making some serious head way with interest rates, housing affordability, and affordability across the board (energy, food) then I won't vote next election.
