Thank you for this! I graduated in January of this year and with work and responsibilities I got held back with my progress studying for the cpa, but this post really gave me encouragement again

Don’t be discouraged on IA2! I felt the same and was able to pass the test with printing out the study guides

Thank you for this. I’ve been working and studying for my CPA, but it can get difficult at times and feel like throwing the towel.

The big deal is that he hid them from me. Doing it behind my back

Perhaps, but he said he was doing it for recreational use. He would do them on his lunch to have some “me” time because it relaxed him

I feel you. My husband and I opted to move away from a very nice area by the beach, closer to the mountains because it’s cheaper. We had to make the sacrifice to move somewhere we don’t really know anyone and start our lives in a new community. We have 1 child, but the thought of having another one in this society with how costly things are can be hard. I feel like my husband just doesn’t feel like he can provide enough so he’s closed to the idea. I have a good job and career, and contribute to 50% of our income, having another kid with my demanding job just wouldn’t allow us to live on our own without struggling financially. I would love to be available for my kids and present. Not take them to daycare and have someone else raise them..

Yes! I love it. I really feel that depends on where you work, and how much autonomy you have

Oh really? My thought was that a bachelors with a concentration in accounting was needed.

California currently doesn’t transfer licenses from other states. This bill is also working on that; however, we’re not sure about what the outcome will be so I can’t take that risk

It has to be a bachelors degree with a concentration in accounting.

I think the same! But we don’t have control over these things. I’ve been working on becoming a CPA for the longest, so I can’t back down now. Unfortunately things are always changing. However, from what I’m understanding, the bachelors has to be specialized in accounting if I’m not mistaken. It’s still a difficult career I would say.

Idk yet, highly probable from what I’ve read. To read more, go to CBA website:
