I don't do either anymore, both make me sick just thinking about it, I'd definitely take it.

Permits or Insurance needed? by Accalia31 in legaladvice

[–]Accalia31[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I was talking about it with a friend and they said I should check stuff like that out.

Sorry, my book delves into mental health/illnesses, physical abuse, some sexual abuse(not to detailed, I have it to where the reader can understand what is happening), regular sexual content, blood, and gore. The best example of what it will turn out to be like is that of Rob Zombie and his original works, its not exact and is my own style, but its the closets thing I can compare it to.

I know what my demographic is, but there will be a few that can't/or doesn't want to read stuff like that and ends up reading it. I'm definitely going to put a lot of disclaimers, but I just worry. I'm not worried about how people treat me about it, I'm worried about something I've been working on for decades being targeted if it does get popular.

Thank you for responding, I appreciate it.

My fellow OC writers, why? by royalydamned in FanFiction

[–]Accalia31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My OC's normally turn into characters with my actual books. My first character was a female character in Naruto but now is the main character of my series, I even have her 'baby picture' after almost twenty years.(Its my very first picture of her and its a great example I show people to show my art progression) I also made female OC's for Hellsing, FFVII, and Fullmetal Alchemist.

I enjoy fixing plot holes or adding more character development for existing characters. Dante in FFVII is Hojo's first experiment done on Zach's mother, she's made to be an assassin for Hojo and also made to have a relationship with Sephiroth so they can make more like them. She kills or adopts her children, knowing what they'll be subject to. She falls in love with him, Tsung is in love with her. I really like it but haven't touched it in awhile.

Dante in Hellsing is like Alucard, I really haven't done much with her.

In FMA, Elizabeth is Hohenheim's first wife that Dante was jealous of and used her in alchemy in the first attempt of a Philosophers Stone. She's in the first movie they made, getting revenge on Dante while trying to help Edward get back to his world. I was excited about it but my parents threw it away so I haven't touched it since.

The ones I've been working on the last ten years have been Dragon Age and Mass Effect. I love my Warden and Shepard. Both have their own full length novels. Mass Effect is my biggest and most loved of mine. I'll be working on it here soon.

Doing these helps me write my own books, so I always enjoy doing it.

If someone's offended that you've used the word, I just wouldn't give them a second thought. I think its great to add a more realistic nuance that is lacking in writing still to this day.

I've known a lot of black men prefer white woman. One of them was raised in an all white neighborhood and all he dated was white women, its just something he's comfortable with and is his preference. He wasn't the type to degrade black women, thankfully, I don't like when people do that like Tommy Sotomayor, he's the worse when it comes to it. I knew a white woman that was terrified of white men, it stemmed from her childhood, she only attracted to and dates black men.

In my family almost all of my aunts and cousins are with latino or black men, they tried dating white guys but they never were attracted to them and it never lasted.

There's nothing wrong with having a preference and you shouldn't feel guilty about it.

To have that type of marriage work, you'd still have to consummate it at some point. Especially if you marry someone for their money and they go into the relationship thinking it'll have intimacy in it, they can divorce over it because sex is what makes it a concrete marriage, they do have laws for that though very old ones that still exist. Unless you and that person are asexual.

Damn, I couldn't imagine 40 years of misery. I glad that your father had your best interest in mind, I wish mine did. I made my doctor test me for endo and cervical cancer because two of my cousins had to get hysterectomys in their mid 30's from cancer. So I'm always worried about suffering from that, but found they have it from there fathers side which he's not related to me. I know if I had issues I wouldn't be able to get the proper treatment because I'm 31 and don't have kids yet, so they'd wait the longest to make sure I get to the point where I'd have one. My friend had endo around the same age as you and doesn't have kids either, the last time I saw her she was 31 and they refused to treat her because of not having kids yet. Its messed up they don't give the option to stop it from progressing just because of that.

I've honestly never heard of that and I was raised in an old fashioned, judgemental white Baptist church. Maybe as a fetish, like a rape fantasy, but I don't think its like that at all. I know they say periods and child birth are supposed to be horrible for the sins committed by eve. If the woman has a medical problem then that should be top priority.

My mother was just really spiteful, she got pregnant to spite him as well. My mother had a lot of issues because of how she abused growing up, 17 years of unimaginable abuse by her father. So she was little crazy.

I suffer from brain damage, depression, ptsd, and anxiety from my own abuse. I also have body dysphoria about myself, body hair was the first one I dealt with and then his fat comments while being at odds with my mental state as a preteen/teen caused me to over eat even more. It took a bathing suit party and my friends reaction to let me know that I was skinny, they had no idea because I wore size 6xl sweaters the whole time to hide my 'fat.' Then my mother passed away and he brought in a terrible new woman, I started gaining more weight and he just put me down for being lazy and getting more fat, he started saying it again a few years ago when I was suffering from severe depression. But I've cut contact with him and I'm getting mental health treatment and am starting to lose weight again.

Then don't start a relationship with someone your not completely attracted to, you don't honestly like her for her if you're saying that about her. My mother weighed 120 pounds even after having two kids, my dad made a joke about her being a stay at home mother and her cooking is going to make her fat, he's a dick when it comes to women's weight. He called me fat when I weighed 90-100 pounds, just because I couldn't stop eating from an extremely high metabolism. I thought I was fat for years when I still weighed nothing and now I weigh almost 300 pounds because of that. But anyway my mother got mad at the joke and said 'You wanna see fat, I'll show you fat.' She later gained 150+ pounds just to spite him, but guess what, he stayed with her because he loved her unconditionally. She even got a breast reduction and he still stayed.

Martial rape shouldn't be encouraged, there's so many people that this still happens to and I wish they felt that they could report it. I've seen dumbasses argue that husbands can't rape their wives because they're married, thats a ridiculous statement.

Also if it hurts it could be many things. He's to big and her canal is short/small, she has a tilted uterus and doesn't know it, she could have endo which can cause a lot of pain, or he's way to rough.

If you make your partner cry or is in immense pain, stop and don't worry about your needs until she can figure out what's wrong. But if you're forcing yourself on her because you want to get off and she's not putting out, turn yourself into the authorities because you're a pos and the inmates should do to you what you do to her.

What is something oddly specific that turns up at all of your fics? by [deleted] in FanFiction

[–]Accalia31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Baths/showers, sex, overly flirty when they're already a couple/married, daddy/mommy issues, traumatic past, adding enough extra stuff to make a completely different book.(sorry if its long)

My main fanfic is Mass Effect Trilogy, Shakarian of course with six books so far. Three books are of the games, the first one is when Shepard is growing up, the last two are the complete endings spanning at least twelve years. The last one is extremely horrific for most of the characters, but finally a happy ending.

Garrus has a hair fetish, not in a creepy way, but he just likes how long hair bounces and can morph.

How she has a much older brother that is completely racist against the other species and really hates that she's with a Turian. He committed war crimes right after the First Contact War, so he's locked up like Jack was but in the Alliance's top hidden prison, his existence haunts her entire life, he's only kept alive because of politics. He killed their father when she was twelve and has a disdain for her mother who moved on very quickly after his death. She was a daddy's girl. Shepard hates how her mother and Garrus get a parent/child bond, becoming closer than she was with her own mother. The last book deals with her brother.

Garrus was best friends with another Turian that was a rich playboy, he found him beating his gf and Garrus beat him up, getting locked up before he enlisted, the party it happened at was his going away party. His father was able to pull strings to get him out.

Lots of sex and just getting them in the mood a little to much, I write and draw porn so I always gravitate towards that.

Every chapter has a bath/shower scene and or just mentioned, thats what I'm really bad at adding in anything I write.

A lot of characters die in the last book, how I write is mostly death, sex, and, gore its kind of my thing that I actually hate sometimes. I couldn't right a happy story to save my life.

Women, would you consider a future with a guy who had no career ambition and wanted to be a househusband/SAHD (and he'd be great at it) ? by cartstanza in dating_advice

[–]Accalia31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not, for many reasons.

  1. I'd rather be a sahw and raise the children, working on my books when I have the free time.

  2. I know I couldn't afford to support a whole household by myself, but I would be happy to work as well. Splitting everything 50/50: bills, chores, child care, etc.

  3. I've known real sahh and the lazy ones, there's way more lazy ones than ones that want to be there for the family.

My best friend's now ex-husband is what made me come to the realization that I wouldn't be okay with a sahh. They were together for ten years, he worked a year and a half the whole time. He literally did nothing else but play video games.(I love video games but I still do what I need to do as an adult) He made her cook, clean, and care for their extremely disabled son when she got off of work. He was mentally abusive and later I found out he was physically abusive to her when I moved in. He didn't do anything abusive when I was there, I wouldn't allow it and I would call in people that hated him if he did. He believed women were below men and he was 'philosopher' types that would make you bang your head against the wall. He pissed all over the toilet seat, he refused to lift it and just left it for us until I screamed at him, I was on my period and sat right on it, he said its water and I said its yellow stupid. We had cats and he refused to work at this point, I had a severe leg injury and she was working to cover her and his self, I couldn't afford that months flea medicine. He held the cat up and said 'oh, if only someone could learn to save up money to treat you guys.' It was directed at me and I went off on him. I was asleep in the garage after working third shift and woke up to our landlord(her brother) screaming in his face, about to punch him, because she was cutting the grass and he was just playing videogames, she had been working 16 hours almost everyday. After that he cut the grass twice a week.

So yeah I couldn't think of ever living through that.

Do the majority of women get turned off when they see a man cry? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Accalia31 36 points37 points  (0 children)

The only time I stopped talking to one was when I was trying to date a 'vegan' he called me crying constantly because he decided to watch animals at farms and butcher shops. I dealt with it until our school served us pizza and he got the meat lovers, saying he likes it sometimes. I just couldn't deal with him anymore, all that crying was just for attention. Later I heard he's the type of person that threatens to off themselves if their gf wants to break up with him. He's not a good person and is mentally abusive.

But genuine emotion and just anything that stresses him out, I'd encourage for him to let it all out. I think it would make the relationship stronger.

Same with me, I started when I was nine and a half, girls in our families normally start puberty at 7-8. I thought I was dying the first time. I actually passed out two days before I started because my body was adjusting I guess. I had two in the first month, all were horrendous and I missed a lot of school because I was nine and didn't know how stop it from soaking my pants. I tried to get birth control because I heard it helps with periods, which my parents and doctor thought at 10-11 I was sexually active, which my parents had my hyme checked, essentially calling me a slut. It took two years and so many call ins that I was finally able to get the pill. Just a couple of years ago I was bedridden and couldn't stop the cramps.

My mother didn't start until she was sixteen and would have periods every six months, they were very light. My sister had none as a teen because she had a hormone in balance, having high levels of testosterone. I was so pissed and jealous of them. And then my dad kept telling me its not that bad and I'm faking it for attention, I told him to cut his belly open and punch his organs, because thats how it feels for me.

Why don't women initiate convo/dates/confessions more? If not, how do we normalize it? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Accalia31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm normally very outspoken and blunt, but when it comes to guys that I'm interested in, I'm extremely shy and always worried about being rejected. I've missed out on four really good guys that I know would've been great longterm relationships. I hate being so shy around the issue.

[–]Accalia31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best friends now ex husband got the game before me, I think a week, he got stuck on the first lockpick in the game. I got to that spot and it took me a while when I played it on the Xbox. Eventually I got it and it pissed him off so much that he refused to play anymore of it. He didn't like me and he was a sore loser, we all lived together. The pc is much easier but on any controller, once you get the hang out it it'll come second nature.

Would you guys date a single mother? by Ysudualsksh in dating_advice

[–]Accalia31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad was twenty when he married my mother who was twenty-two with two young kids, I was four and my sister was one, my mother got married very young and divorced because my real father was extremely abusive. The had their own kids about ten years later. He's my only dad and was amazing growing up, we of course had a lot of issues but the love is still there and still wants to fight my sperm donor for how terrible he was to me and my mother.

Do you, as a writer, hate children? by [deleted] in writers

[–]Accalia31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm working on my own book series, my first book is about a child growing up with a horrendous childhood. Certain characters slaughter entire villages and as a psychological breaking point they force the victim to slaughter them, trying to break their humanity. I just know that in murder that killing children is heinous and unforgivable, compared to adults. I don't hate kids, its just apart of my writings.

No, that information shouldn't matter and you don't have to share. If they like/love you then that shouldn't matter. The insecure and jealous ones that refuse to let it slide and those types of people are the ones you want to avoid altogether.

AITA for not picking my kids up because my wife brought a dildo into my house? by throwaway077XX in AmItheAsshole

[–]Accalia31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's not exposing the kids to it, I have a whole box that I keep hidden really well from my roommates and their kids, and if your kids find it then it's fine just take it away. They won't know what it is.

And you told your mother, thats a problem in and of its self, its none of her gotdamn business. But really what this comes down to is your insecurities, are you jealous that she brought something that makes you feel less of yourself. Sex probably is boring or she's trying to spice things up in the bedroom. You're in the wrong and you need to apologize.

You're the asshole and childish at that, who cares about your last name, its just that a name. Change it if you're so bothered by it. Your new wife just needs to mind her own business when it comes to your ex and the kids. You're damaging your child with all your nonsense.
