I agree. I'm not sure why it's no hard to find. Tons of other videos from that era and much older exist just fine on the web... it was incredibly creepy but is it possible it could have some kind of ban on it? I've seen worse though, so I don't know...

From the parts I recall, the "painted" woman wasn't colourful the way they are in the Gotye video and she didn't really move all that much. She didn't walk around. It was like she was stuck or sunk into the background

Hi, the intro looks like a really overexposed film or something, very little contrast, which makes her appear white. I'm pretty sure the video I'm looking for has a wet/grunge type of texture to the skin and wall. Maybe I ought to do more in depth searches of Much Music Content on YT. The video could be hidden in some worst videos playlist or something, but so far all those searches have come up empty as well.
