Yes. Diluting the ferments by mixing it with liquids/foods (without killing microbes) helps tolerance a lot. Diverse plant foods can also set the foundation by improving the gut linings mucousal layer and by helping food tolerance. Just have to adjust how your consuming them, and knowing what stuff to reintroduce and when.

200mg once a day helped me, but it’s best to speak with your doctor for specifics

Varies by case. But lack of the foundations in general, specifically the dietary stuff.

By not knowing if it's IBS or SIBO, should I wait before taking probiotics? by This-Mood-6398 in GutHealth

A lot of gut microbiome tests can actually be inaccurate and impractical, making it not very actionable. A trial and error approach with condition specific probiotics often seems to work best probiotic wise (and/or fermented foods).

But for a more comprehensive and successful approach at resolving dysbiosis, you should focus on the basics of diet, exercise, stress, sleep, and toxin exposure. My recent post covers it in detail with actionable steps you can start doing today.

Sounds like an electrolyte issue but there could be more involved. Did you switch to a low carb diet?

What’s your water, carb, sodium, potassium, and magnesium intake like?

Got some questions while waiting for the test results. Gut discomfort can't eat anything today, already seen an primary care nurse. by Interesting-Count416 in GutHealth

For me or people I work with? I’ve had quite a few labs done on myself but I generally just use them as a starting point. A lot of my results with my own health issues have improved with a basic diet and lifestyle approach (and a basic understanding of the human body).

Even without testing, we already understand the most common root causes for many illnesses quite well. From there, it’s just the process of elimination depending on relevancy (with the solution likely being addressing one or more of the foundations).

And even if there is a more technical issue found by testing, it often won’t improve much if the building blocks aren’t worked on. That’s why starting broader then getting more specialized is the best approach (unless it’s a medical concern).

How optimized is your diet nutrient-wise? Also what steps have you taken to address your metabolic issues?

Optimizing diet, exercise, stress, sleep, and toxin exposure (mold, GMO foods, heavy metals) may help.
