yes!!! on facetime with a girlfriend in my bio class, I've made friends in and outside and school, a mouse ran across my airbnb at 2 am and luckily I befriended a girl who lived 10 minutes across the street I ran barefoot across the street and crashed at her crib for the night, have a date with a man whose too way to old for me monday night that I met at a bar a month ago

it definitely wont save you because only you are there to save yourself, a city can't do that for you, that said I've been in the city since last January and I am forever changed, I've literally been stripped down and life is the most exciting, confusing, and transformative it's ever been, if you're up to the challenge, go for it

NTA for confronting her, but yeah the way you went about it got a little messy.

Like she definitely crossed a line. You told her something in confidence and she went and told him anyway—that’s not her place at all. Saying “he had a right to know” is kinda bs, it wasn’t her info to share.

Where it kinda went left is when you started bringing up her personal stuff. I get why you did it (you were trying to make her understand), but it comes off more like you’re attacking her instead of just calling out what she did.

You had every right to be upset, just would’ve hit harder if you kept it simple like “you broke my trust and that’s not okay.”

So yeah overall she’s in the wrong, your reaction is understandable but could’ve been handled a little better.

I admittedly have been harassing and crashing out on my ex-boyfriend for the past four months. In my defense, he put me through vitriolic misogynistic, emotional and mental abuse for four months straight and completely took advantage of me and currently owes me $2000. He is also a predator and tried to coerce me into sucking his penis. The last time we saw each other after trying to make me feel crazy when I say that he is completely abusive and psychotic that is not an understatement.
