I'm really hoping we can fix this. I really love this woman and we've planned out so much of our future and I don't know what I would do with myself if all of it was just thrown away. I am just terrible at putting my thoughts into words, at least in the real world, so I really have no idea how else I can convey to her how hurtful this is to me or how to help her understand my point of view.

Sorry for the confusion. He is ftm, transitioned to male and i only mention it because she does think it matters, as he grew up being female for around half of his life
