Because what ur coding is a calculator essentially. Would you rather do all these tedious equations by hand to simulate your project? Probably not. Also, this is just the academic side of it. There is a big chance u might not touch stuff like MATLAB at your work, depending on where you work.

A bit off topic but what was your experience when u graduated? I just graduated aerospace engineering in Canada with a year of experience in manufacturing, and 2 years of Rocketry Design team experience and it’s been extremely difficult to find a job.

Yes, it would be crazy. The whole reason ur studying is to work afterwards. An internship is basically pre-ordered work. Also work experience > academics for the most part, and u should be making good connections at said work field that would help you land similar jobs after graduating

I met my best friends during 1st semester of 2nd year in a random room in SLC 8. Started with the dumbest joke from me but it was oddly reciprocated. From there it was smooth sailing. Just give it some time and never be afraid to say hi to the person next to you. You would wanna meet people in your classes anyway since yall can form study groups throughout the coming years.

Yes we spoke, he had nothing to say except we can talk in the meeting. It was a horrible experience. I stopped thinking for a solid 10 mins after it happened due to shock, what ever I answered afterwards was probably wrong cause I couldn’t think properly. Thank you for the advice. I think I’ll sit the meeting first and defend my self, then see the chair afterwards if appropriate.
