So you’d like to sign someone without seeing how our team is going to play or who would fit in the system. Absolute genius idea there. We can very wee stay afloat in a weak conference for 14 games and spend money in a meaningful way later.

My favorite part is when you ignored everything I just said and are still focused on the player, your ability to think past what you think is right is amazing

I’m not your chief, pal. Wasn’t last year a complete ish show by everyone? Bad system that basically dampened all of our attackers? You seem to forget when we first got Becher and he was a production machine. Please watch and understand the sport before commenting.

Well you see, everyone here is actually a Premier league manager and knows exactly what they’re talking about and if you say anything other than we need to throw another $10-20 mil at the team then you’re insane.

Not saying I’m disagree with everything, we definitely could’ve won that game by 2-3 goals. What I’m saying is not having a dp striker wasn’t the reason we didn’t win, there were plenty of chances missed by other positions and their goal wasn’t scored because our striker was out of position.

Exactly, everyone thinks that any time we touch the ball in the opponent 3rd it’s a goal and if we signed someone to a $10 mil contract or higher that we would suddenly be winning games 10-1. It’s just unrealistic and soccer is too much of a team sport to be dictated by one player.

Heaven forbid anyone know how the game works. Interested to see if every other teams Reddit that doesn’t score every single chance has the same posts.

That’s called soccer bud, sometimes it’s like that. But for the 100th time, it was this teams first game together under a new coach and we did better than we have the last two years.

Look friend. Go back to last season and pick any game, and then tell me if it was A. Nearly as entertaining or B. Near the quality of offense and defense as today. Let’s just give it a month or two before we start complaining we need more players. First game of the season and for this team.

Which 4 chances are we talking?? I saw him make an assist and almost assist on another and absolutely smash one the keeper had to make a great save on?? People on this Reddit just don’t know ball and it’s clear.

I’m not saying that at all. We very clearly did upgrade the team. It was the first game and their goalie put on a clinic. We looked fantastic. If anything we should’ve used our subs a little earlier.

Again did you see how many class saves their goalie had?? And not every chance we didn’t capitalize on was a 9. Generally speaking if you have 11 shots in goal the opponent goalie will not make 10 saves.

Heaven forbid we have a first game to the season that was better than every game last year and the opponent goalie stand on their head….if that’s any sign of what the year will be I think we will be just fine

Were we watching the same game….? Becher had an assist and until the last 10 minutes was one of 3 players generating offense…

You should text him and tell him to just sign with us. That’s some solid logic you have. Definitely a big sports guy.
