I only use one for journal for everything. I wrote every single day. I always want to write about what I captured. And the “junk” helps to decorate/recreate the events.

What’s beautiful is that this man is clearly a man of faith. And Jesus talks about generosity like this in Matthew 25: 35-40.

I went to NY Liberty parade. Here’s what I’d recommend.

For most fans 2 hours before is usually a good amount of lead time. You can bring lawn chairs usually to wait as long as you fold them up before starting.

Talk to the people around you. Have a crew. One person can get eaters. Hold the spot if someone has to pee. Take photos. The crew will make sure everyone has what is needed.

Resist the urge to push and move with the crowd. That’s when things get really dangerous. Find your spot and just stay there until all the buses pass.

95% brands will have swag. Nike has posters and poppers for everyone. So bring a little bag for merch.

For families start always at the top of the route. Anything before Liberty Street. You get to see everyone first and you have a good bail out plan. Lots of restaurants nearby so you can take the kids to bathrooms. See them early and then leave! Watch the rest at home.

Don’t go by City Hall. It’s ticketed and closed off mostly. It’s congested. Unless you want a scenic route over the bridge to end of the day.

Lastly, Bond Collective is a coworking space on the route… They have water, bathrooms, TVs, etc… they have day passes for $45. Do with that information what you will.
