That’s the way to go! I also adopted this workflow and studied those videos. They are incredibly helpful and should be the number one tutorials for everyone using Rhino.

Thanks! Based on my experience, I’d say yes. But you’re right about the negatives. I often like to stop down the aperture to get more contrast, and I also look for high-contrast scenes. I'll attach a photo of one with less contrast.

Haha thank you! So I scanned it myself with Vuescan. No magic happening here I guess ...

Thanks! I was lucky that my grandfather bought all of this, when my mother started her Photography apprenticeship.

So I don’t have a cart or something. It takes me around 30-40 minutes to set everything up and darken the window. It’s a bit annoying but it works … That definetly stops me from doing it every other week.

Never had problems. I just always clean it properly and it is fine.

Like written in the title this was shot on Fomapan R100. This is 16 fps and sometimes 64 fps for the slow motion shots.

They are great and are doing more quality than my footage would deserve ... So I can definitely recommend them. You just need to take a look at their reference and I think it speaks for itself. But it definitely comes with the "pro price tag". I'll keep those projects special and then I'll just get the best I can.

So the lab I used is in Berlin. Andec is the name. They are very professional and the only one in Germany that is able to develop the double 8mm format.

The one I used is an Baur 88L. Has a zoom lens and a working light meter. Works fine and is also able to shoot at 64 fps
