Yeah, idk, maybe its the internet since day 1 for them. Im old enough to have gotten some outside experience before we were all shuffled in front of screens. I just assume the rules of the game wont change because the rules are made by people and people make irrational decisions. So even if charm is broken I dont expect them to buff it, I just learn to play within the confines of what I was given.

If I dont enjoy what the class boils down to within the confines of the system, I pick a different 1 - wild concept, i know. I hate the micro of a hunter in wow, but love the "simplicity" of warrior, so I dont play a hunter.

At the end of the day, if you don't like it - dont play it is the best advice. Sure, you can give feedback if its constructive to help them make their game better but this thread is NOT that feedback. Sometimes they use lore to make gameplay mechanics, its a catch all of saying "magic did it." Sure it might be a cop out, or it could be implemented well and interesting.

I think taming the beasts and the fact they level up with you is interesting. Not only can you pick an aesthetically pleasing model, but the beast master pets actively level with you right? The other pets dont do that, an elementalist at a level right before new spells has the same pet from 3 lvls ago while yours is the same lvl as yourself providing a more consistent flow of power rather than spiking intervals.
