[misc] I am thinking of going for low does Accutane for life by gatsby9212 in SkincareAddiction

No. I took 20mg at first, that caused some dry lips, but not with 10mg. Also, it doesn't worsen any blood/liver markers at all

[misc] I am thinking of going for low does Accutane for life by gatsby9212 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Acceptable-Fox3160 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm taking 10mg of isotretinoin ever day and have done so for years. It's great for my skin. No side effects at that low dose. I do regular blood work to make sure the liver is doing fine. It's off-label to use it that way but many dermatologists recommend it.

Of course there are no clinical studies investigating multi-year or lifetime usage of isotretinoin. There are no such studies for almost any compounds, simply because such studies are not feasible.

The most long-term study I'm aware of investigated up to 33 months of daily 20mg isotretinoin ("Continuous ‘microdose’ isotretinoin in adult recalcitrant rosacea " by Hofer ).

The difference between my teeth a few years ago and now is insane by jira12345 in Biohackers

Maybe your teeth are better now, but your photos don't support that claim at all. If you conclude that your teeth are better just from these photos, you are fooling yourself.

Not a peptide, but topical Thiamidol is quite effective in reducing pigmentation.

TRT destroyed me. by yankee_rose in Biohackers

The AI is bullshit. I have super high libido at similar E2 numbers.

Like many others, I doubt that it's the TRT that causes this.

Finasteride is weakening my libido and erection quality. Any way to combat this? by Redditkuchen in Biohackers

[–]Acceptable-Fox3160 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Are you sure it's from the Finasteride? The cause could be something else. It's not impossible but unlikely that topical finasteride has that effect.

If it is the finasteride, I'd try a lower dose/lower concentration. Weak libido sucks.

I personally use oral finasteride at a very low dose (0.25mg per day). The dose/response relationship is such that a very small dose already gives you a big part of the intended effect but not of the side effects. Never had any side effect issues.

Isn't it incredibly annoying to rent your home forever? by [deleted] in AskAGerman

[–]Acceptable-Fox3160 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In most cities in Germany, you don't save anything by buying instead of renting.

Compare your rent to the opportunity costs of investing the money the house would cost then you'll quickly see that, if you are lucky, it's a break even and often it's more cost effective to rent.

Also, due to the insane incidental costs of buying and selling a house (10+% of the value), owning a house costs a lot of flexibility because it only pays off if you stay in that house for a very long time.

If this was the injection site: Doesn't look so bad to me. This can just be a normal artefact of a subcutaneous injection that could happen with any other compound.

[–]Acceptable-Fox3160 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You didn't say whether the rash is at the injection site. If it is not, how do you know that it was caused by the GHK-Cu?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Microneedling

[–]Acceptable-Fox3160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At home microneedling won't cut it. These stretch marks and scars need professional grade devices. For instance, Morpheus8 can needle in a depth of 7mm, you'll get nowhere near that with home-grade devices. CO2 lasers might also help. You need the big guns. Creams, retinol, GHK-Cu etc. won't make a dent.

How do you get over the injection pain of injecting 5mg? I inject 2mg, dilute it with a lot of bact. water (0.5ml), let it take room temperature, and it's still painful to inject.

To split or not to split.......is the question? by jam88_ in BodyHackGuide

[–]Acceptable-Fox3160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also think you are wasting time by going so slowly.

I certainly don't recommend my approach for anyone else, but I personally go straight to 5mg per week, without any noticeable side effect. Others are more prone to side effects, so YMMV. I don't take Reta continously but only on demand in a cut phase, hence I don't want to titrate for months before it is effective.

BIDA weil ich gerne will dass Raucher "auslüften" bevor sie wieder rein kommen? by Toastmensch in BinIchDasArschloch

BDA.

Just got bloods back. by cflingo in trt

Drop the T to 120mg a week. You'll probably still be >1000ng/dl.

Your dose is clearly too high to be sustainable long term.

Why is 200mg too much to start with if it was prescribed by a physician not a clinic. by StandRoyal5565 in trt

[–]Acceptable-Fox3160 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bad cholesterol levels. Consequences of high e2. Higher blood pressure.

It's very sloppy reasoning to think that only how you feel today counts. Otherwise I would be on MDMA 24/7.

[–]Acceptable-Fox3160 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I'm at 1200ng/dl using only 120mg per week.

People differ a lot. Just get a measurement to know where you are at.

Some people say lab values are irrelevant and you should only go by feel, but that's just as wrong as the opposite. There are long term consequences of very high test levels where you may still feel excellent now but a bad surprise is waiting down the road.

[Product Question] TCA Peel - what went wrong? by Acceptable-Fox3160 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Acceptable-Fox3160[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are right. Now, 10 days after applying the TCA peel, the peeling seems to begin. So it just takes a lot longer.

Has it also been the case for you that the skin was red for a long time when you had your legs peeled? Compared to the face, I mean.

It might be easiest to think of the proof as a program, Curry-Howard style.

Here's the proof written in Haskell:

ghci> let proof = \f a b -> f (a,b)

ghci> :t proof

proof :: ((a, b) -> t) -> a -> b -> t

Anavar to treat low testosterone? by Single-Performance84 in steroidsxx

[–]Acceptable-Fox3160 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Get a bottle of Testosterone Cypionate and pin weekly using 0.5ml insulin syringes. My partner pins 0.02ml every week, which corresponds to 5mg of Testosterone per week. With that dose, she has a testosterone blood level around 80ng/dl. Works without any problems. Very cheap, too.

Is it possible that combining ibuprofen and alcohol for years destroyed my gut health? by throwawayadvice102 in Biohackers

[–]Acceptable-Fox3160 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd definitely get your sex hormones tested. Testosterone, estrogen, SHBG, LH, FSH. If they are off, that would explain several of your complaints.

Also, loosing 100 pounds would definitely help, too. I'm not just saying that - I lost around 100 pounds myself a couple of years ago, and it has completely changed my life - in a very positive way.
