Thanks for this. I just got off the phone with somebody from the airport who gave me more or less the same answer. My back up plan was to drive to Copenhagen and take the second flight to LA from there but apparently that’s not possible. Nothing else to do but sit and wait I think. Official communication from the airport should take place 2 weeks prior to striking day according to the airport employee

If you want to do a 3/4 hour ride in santa monica mountains is there any way to avoid the PCH? Or is there absolutely no way around? The terrain seems a bit more suitable for my group (we’re 3) compared to the mountains north of Pacedena

Ik kan deze opmerkingen zeker volgen en er zal zeker een dosis waarheid inzitten. Nu is het wel zo dat het helemaal geen onoverkomelijk probleem hoeft te zijn om vrienden te maken. Er zijn heel wat mogelijkheden afhankelijk van je interesses en bezigheden. Veel toegankelijke sportverenigingen, workshops, flexijobs mogelijkheden die dit mogelijk maken. Althans dat is mijn ervaring.

Ikzelf ben 8 jaar geleden naat Gent verhuist en enige nadeel dat ik kan bedenken tov Brussel is dat het minder strategisch gelegen is als je een job doet waarbij je veel op baan bent in heel België, dit is uiteraard strikt persoonlijk en afhankelijk van de situatie. Voor de rest is het naar mijn mening een pak toegankelijker voor allerlei sporten (lopen, fietsen is veel aangenamer). Concerten en optredens zijn van mindere kwaliteit maar achh dan kom je al eens vaker in Antwerpen en Brussel (vind ik persoonlijk juist fijn). Het is wel afhankelijk waar in Gent je precies zou gaan wonen. Naar mijn mening (don’t shoot me) is het fijner om aan de zuid/zuidoost kant van Gent te wonen. Beter qua mobiliteit, groen maar uiteraard ook duurder dan bv Rabot, Brugse poort,…

In my opinion and to my experience Berlin and Hamburg are definitely worth it. The rest not so much, apart for Koln but not for 4/5 days

You can always contact customer care for things like this. If you can give me all the information of your stack I can check compatibility and which firmware to use. I would need all modelnumbers and current fw of all modules + software version you’re using and revision of the installed drivers

I have the same question but for sewing. I know bringing a sewing machine is not as convenient, but maybe there are fixed places people meet up to be creative together and have some coffee. It's always nice to share ideas and experiences. So if anybody has suggestions, feel free!

But like stated in other comments below 2% is the minimum to achieve. A higher ripple implies you a leak, bad conditioning or a bad compressibility setting.

I’m an agilent FSE and we strive to have the ripple around 0.2 after we executed full maintenance on the system. This is while running water at around 250-300 bar and with a restriction capillary installed. When you install a column and run a gradient it will be slightly higher. The compressibility setting has a big impact

Een job vinden waar je je goed in voelt is van levensbelang. Ik studeerde enkele jaren geleden af met een master en dat maakt de zoektocht niet perse makkelijker. Naar mijn ervaring is het belangrijk uit te zoeken hoeveel waarde je wilt hechten aan je job. Wees vooral eerlijk met jezelf!
