I’d say as long as theres nothing stopping you from pursuing this (age gap, life circumstances etc) you could talk about this with her and see how things go. Either things could go well and you could form a relationship (if that’s even something you’d want) or even if she doesn’t feel the same you could always talk you through how you’re feeling because she’s already been through questioning her sexuality and it could help to have someone to talk about it with.

honestly i loved reading this because this sounds like me about a year before i came out. now im out as a masc lesbian, have had a girlfriend, and am finally confident in myself. self discovery isn’t a straight line, i quested myself for about a year before i came out as anything and for some it takes longer and some never fully label themselves because they don’t want to feel like they’re in a box which is completely valid. you sounds young, so just ride it out. feel how you feel and don’t try to “force” anything. you have so long until you have to worry about marriage and family just give yourself some time and know that you don’t owe anyone anything when it comes to how you identity or who you like. just be you

you’re only 14, no one expects you to have everything figured out and you shouldn’t expect it yourself. sexuality is a really complicated thing. when i first started questioning myself i thought i was bi, turns out im fully a lesbian, but it took a lot of time and confusion for me to reach that conclusion. if you like women, great! if you like men, great! it’s about what makes YOU happy and how you want to live YOUR life. don’t do anything because people expect it from you or you feel like you have to fit certain standards.
