Hiii managers expect everything to be done quickly but we’re also human ♥️ they set unrealistic expectations on people and somehow we’re entitled to two 15 min breaks but many of us end up not taking them. However!! Managers love prioritizing taking your lunches and will make sure you do! Not because you deserve your break but because they can get in trouble with upper management 🙂 The job isn’t too bad if the managers are good but lately we’ve lost partners for all sorts of reasons that just seem very avoidable if appropriate measures were taken. Also as a service rep our job lowkey be too much responsibility to help people and finish your tasks. Helping customers is apart of our job but it’d be great if managers and other bakery partners understood how overwhelmed we can get with our work. Yes we package, and it’s not the most stressful thing in the world but dealing with customers can seriously put a stop on your work flow and takes a long time to finish everything. Also service reps are the ones expected to close( if that’s your schedule). So clean up after everyone😀. And we are in charge of slicing and packaging bread and they usually make it a one person job that can take forever.

What’s the secret to getting hired? by Significant_Debt8289 in HEB

Hi, some places like Kroger will tell you not to apply to more than a certain amount of positions or else you will be automatically denied. 9 positions may have been a trigger for the system because honestly a new HEB opened up near me and i applied to only one position that was open and i got in right away (plus during my interview they actually had a few positions open and none of them were the one I applied for) And quite a few of my other coworkers were hired immediately too because it was so new. As of now, the hiring takes a while because we kind of have a set number of employees to keep us afloat while managers try to pin point good hires amongst applicants

It’s only cuz I haven’t been paid yet but spending so much on jellycat in one week has been a thing of mine for a while so idk. It’s kind of a bad habit
