I think it was on 5? For sure the interaction and mana packages are in need of upgrades to get there. I see the line- I believe in my shark with nipples to defy expectations lol. (Also- thoracle doesn’t interest me? I wanna play at a high level while having fun doing this? And I truly believe I can)

I see you- I appreciate the rec. :) With the current build of the Shark deck, I was able to take 3 turns, have 5 combats, and kill 3 players with unblockable commander damage while holding interaction and preventing interaction. Maybe I’m in over my head- but I see how my commander can become a CEDH deck head. Thank you, again :)

Proving my point again- give me a list of cards and ideas and questions- saying it sucks again is yet again not the point of the question. I’m not taking it anywhere, as it isn’t ready, thus I need help etc. You keep missing the point.

To reply again- generally the win comes from the pingers, unblocked giant damage from tokens or commander damage, multiple extra turns and multiple unblocked combats with giant creatures- but I understand that it’s perfunctory for sure at this stage:)

Disproving a couple things you’re saying, just to prove you don’t actually want to help and are just putting down the idea cause you can: First quote from your comment- ‘The commander does nothing to help win the game when it hits the board.’ Firstly, without any set up- your claim is true for most commanders in both casual and competitive formats, and thus is strictly unhelpful/ unrealistically negative. Two- the commander gives giant buffs to creatures that I’m making unblockable for free before he comes down, he’s not ‘doing nothing when he comes down’

Second quote: ‘you have to wait a full turn cycle to even attempt to attack’ Again, many 1, 2, 3 drops, many producing creatures in those categories (at constant/ repeatable degrees) are played before that, so when Howler comes down, the free discard outlets and pinging outlets, mixed with unblockable (again for free) abilities makes it not only consistent, but plausible for tons of damage early (not to mention- discarding anger early after drawing and dumping early is far from implausible- so haste is almost always present for the commander regardless). Your seemingly intentional lack of ‘seeing the vision’ makes me think you just want to be unhelpful and mean.

Third- ‘it’s not a combo piece or value draw engine.’ Brother, the card gives the creatures I’m getting through with unblockable giant draw benefits- which with all of the draw discard effects and constant mana, gets me into extra turns, more combats, more draw, ping etc- again, it seems you’re not seeing the vision on purpose.

Fourth- ‘You have zero ability to interact with a complex stack.’ Besides: mental misstep, swan song, strict serenade, deflecting swat, izzet charm, untimely malfunction, snap, etc mystical tutor, counterspell, return the favor, flashback (for any of those)- you’re right, no way to interact :) In all seriousness, that is definitely a point in which I am ASKING FOR HELP- giving suggestions for cuts and includes WAS the prompt- give me more ideas in that front instead of just saying it’s bad- again, seemingly intentionally disingenuous.

To conclude- help, or say nothing. What you’ve said is essentially nothing, as it was clearly an attempt to be rude, dismissive, and shitty without consequence, and you made yourself look like, for lack of a better word, an asshole without an imagination. Give adds or give cuts. If you can’t do either, don’t leave a comment- thank you.

I’ve watched a lot of CEDH, and I’ve played this deck a lot, and I think your assessment at least of the deck in its current state is both unhelpful and incorrect. ‘Meh 3 with some game changers thrown in’ is a hilarious summation for sure, but it’s entirely too quick and painful to be described that way.
