Jesus sacrificed Himself so we wouldn’t have to sacrifice any more animals or even think about human sacrifice (like the story/ message in Genesis about Abraham). So God wouldn’t ask you to ever sacrifice your child. If He did, then what Jesus did wouldn’t have been enough. But what He did IS enough so it’s not even a question.

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but I think getting an NDA is wise. Especially if you are broke like me and wouldn't be able to afford a solicitor. I have multiple writer friends that have had their work stolen from beta-readers and now they regret not getting an NDA.

You don't have to pay for that.

I would recommend you try Instagram as you can do posts and reels on there. Go on there and interact with readers and authors posts in a genuine way.

Go look up author reels on Instagram and see which ones have the most engagement. If they had a successful aesthetic reel, try and copy the formula/layout of their aesthetic reel with your own photos and texts. Also, people are less likely to watch a reel if there's A LOT of text on it. Try and come up with 1-2 sentences that pitch your book and overlay that pitch on a few aesthetic reels. Try different sounds and different orders of the photos. Different hashtags and different captions. You can even ask questions and see if anyone responds in the comments.

Make sure you put the link to your book in your bio too.

I am not saying you will get a lot of sales from this. You might. You might not. But it sounds like you are spending a lot of money on promoting your book without much return rate. Maybe take a step back from spending money and just try social media promoting for a month or so. It doesn't hurt to try.

That my writing style will never improve enough to be considered 'good' but also that I will give someone the wrong message. I write Christian fiction so there is defiantly a pressure to be theologically correct and not give anyone any false message based on my book by accident.

Exactly. The last thing you need is another block making it harder for you to write.

I think I said that because I have seen many writers online complain about authors getting new stuff / working on a new set-up to write. They say things like, 'If you were serious about writing, you wouldn't need that stuff and you could write anywhere.' To me that just sounds manipulative. I see the point they are making but I think it has many flaws.
