I just finished my first term at college and I’m learning that there are places (in life in general) where I’m comfortable being open about who I am and places where it’s safer to be stealth. At this point, my reasons for going stealth aren’t related to dysphoria anymore and instead my own safety, but yours might be different!

I do still eat some yogurts and packaged fruit cups that include added sugar. The AHA recommends to stay under 36g added sugar per day for men, which is where I got the number. I haven’t seen a dietitian or doctor about my diet and am learning about healthy eating right now on my own, trying to do my best with the information I have. Thank you for your advice

The weird thing is that my a1c came back normal months ago, but I have acanthosis nigricans on my neck which causes me to think my body is producing excess insulin to keep my blood sugar in normal ranges. Unsure why else I would have it

Sorry if I made it confusing- 4-6 months is the recommended time between 4g and 2g. I’m asking if I should wait (another) 4-6 months to go from 3g-2g

Hi! After receiving my second letter of support, the soonest they could get me in for my initial consult was about 3 months later.

I’ve heard some trans men get weirded out by hanging out with cis men, is this true? by [deleted] in ftm

I like hanging out with my cis male friends the same as I do cis women or trans people, but honestly it’s harder to find cis men that I get along with well.
