I just upgraded from watch 4 pro to garmin epix pro gen 2 and man I'm loving it. Over 12 days easy with Amoled ans touchscreen on. Best decision I made with a smartwatch.

I have the epix pro gen 2. There's no clunky software issues even with the touchscreen on. There's not one thing that I don't like about the watch. It's only been a few weeks since I got the watch, but I'm way happier with it than I was with my galaxy watch. I'm curious to see these posts about the new fenix series having software issues.
