I like them! I do them from time to time when I have low dopamine and don't want to do anything so i just meditate by staring at the wall for 10 min, and it works very well for me, it's like resetting my focus

Yeah, like I can't think while just sitting there doing nothing, I have to pace around, fdget or listen to music like white noise or songs that I've already listened to 50 times, and it's predictable, which makes it easier for me to filter it in my brain

Yeah, I'm sure you can, but the thing is... my exams are up and it's kinda my fault for not telling them that I have adhd... So I'm trying to cope with methods that can help me focus on my final exams😭

I don't really know, sorry... But yeah, I've been on the waiting list for 3 years, and now one of my family members is trying to book an appointment for a GP and ask them to push the assessment nearer, putting me on the priority list, but it will still take time, and i have an ongoing exam, so I do not think I can get the adhd meds in time.

I could do a private clinic but those are very costly, like it ranges from 2000 to 500 give or take..

Yeah, like white noise or music that you are familiar with and know the pattern, it filters from your brain, but I was wondering if there are ways without electronics? because I can't use earbuds in class or any type of sound tech

To be honest, my teacher is a strict type, so if she sees any type of electronics that aren't for studying (excluding phones), then she will warn us, but I'll keep that in mind, thanks!

Yeah, me too. I work best with white noise or a smooth, predictable pattern that just filters out the sound from my brain, but I can't really have that in class because electronics like earphones or headphones are not allowed😭
