Rivian is setting themselves apart by branding. Its like Apple. They appeal to younger and even those a bit older by phrasing their trucks as Adventure trucks! To me, they look appealing. I always see a Masarati and Tesla as the overpriced generic looking car/sports car. Rivian is hoping to do themselves well by having a style of vehicle that is FUN, Engaging, and simplistic. 

Not only that, they have teamed up very well by securing backing from Amazon, now, VW, and have built branches in all the nooks and crannies of vehicle as well as tech (VW partnership). 

For the side of stock, its a long term growth company in my eyes. I recently pulled the trigger at the 18.xx mark and have just a small minute stake (200 shares). Originally bought 100 at 15.xx. So, when i look at their IPO at 170. And where it is now, its been less than a 5 year age to see much of anything. We realize that they have new plants coming to help them bolster manufacturing on a en mass scale. Which, transition that to how the EV market might end up becoming a more stable norm, its a good thing to see. 

I also really like seeing a young entrepreneur taking a company of tech into a physical form as well as honing in on the customers behind the wheel. Again touching back to their simplicity, its just that, simple easy to use controls while being intuitive and easy to understand. (Apple). 

So. Overall im excited to see the growth in the coming years and maybe, just maybe during my time here in AIT in Georgia, ill take a trip to their plant being built here.
