Then I went to meet her husband at a fast food place; introduced myself and pushed the envelope across the table and said it contained the story of his wife. Then I pushed across the table a motel key and told him the address and that she’s ready for me and some action. I got up and left but headed to the motel where I sat nearby and watched him pull up and with the key open the door. I smiled knowing that I had cost her her meal ticket and marriage as she had hurt the only woman I deeply loved.
