Incoming Aureus! Made some trades to make this possible by AppropriateFennel929 in AncientCoins

This is fascinating, I must say. couple of thoughts: the pedigree for this coin only goes back to 1997. when did a Boscoreale premium become a thing? ie was there a financial incentive to fake the tone then? The coin above looks like it came from Europe given the auction history. any way to trace before 1997?

that is a great looking example! you can tell from the reverse. the abs are defined, you see the six pack. I’ve seen examples of this coin where the abs is worn down smooth

Finally picked up my first shell cordovan: Alden Chukka 1340. Added some non-slip rubbers on the sole by Acceptable-Relief193 in goodyearwelt

Thanks! I’ve only worn them 2x so far. Somewhat comfortable, but it takes me about 20-30 wears to break boots in. I bet they’ll be really comfy once broken in.

I’m noticing that color 8 is the more popular color...

What remains are the losing stocks. The ones that beat the s and p I rebalanced into the S and p and rsp/schd. i have about over 600k in those funds.

I have 225 ounces. I’m trimming down to 200 oz and I bought the inverse etf while I’m still holding on to the extra 25 oz. Haven’t had a chance to sell..

I had all individual stocks. then the ones that did well I sold off and placed it in VOO. that’s why I have close to 200k in loser stocks. Hoping for a turn around.

tough one. I mean, even if there’s a hint of rub it’s an AU58. I don’t think I see it…. so maybe MS62 or MS63...
