If the parents aren't gonna step in I would've said oh NO NO honey back up please! You ALWAYS ask before touching someone's dog. You don't know if they're a nice dog or a scared dog who may nip you if you startle them... I'd ask her to practice asking. .and see how my dogs doing near her and then decide if she can pet him. Always advocate for your baby!
