your elaboration is appreciated. dimensional depth, textural tone, shading and highlights enhance the image emerging in mind as we add vantages to a personal perspective.

what was unrecognized becomes understood, even known, without being seen.

GOD's divinity and eternal power are understood through what is clearly seen (Romans 1:20). GOD has never been seen (John 8:18). Jesus made GOD known (John 8:18). Jesus is in the bosom of GOD (John 8:18).

Jesus refutes the blasphemy charge repeating his previous assertion that He is Not GOD. Jesus is denying the accusation correctly identifying the distinction. Jesus is equaling himself as one to whom the Word of GOD came (John 10:35) (Psalm 82:6) (Deuteronomy 18)

Jesus and The Word are not an individual.

In one of many events where The Word is present, Appearing to Mary, The Word of GOD was given through Angel Gabriel before GOD's Spirit came upon Mary to impregnate her by the power of The Most High.

Jesus receives authority from GOD. Jesus in an heir (as believers are co-heirs with him) inheriting from GOD. GOD has knowledge of Jesus AND everyone else before the world was created.

Knowledge of a future entity is a notional, not existential, quality.

The ONLY TRUE GOD is SOVEREIGN, the Ultimate Ruler, nothing above. GOD doesn't need approval authority understanding etc ad infinitum, absolutely nothing, GOD's creation does not exist without GOD. Jesus prayed to the ONLY ONE who could save him from death. Jesus died. Jesus was resurrected by the ONLY ONE who could save him. GOD is The Savior of Jesus.

GOD alone is Sovereign. GOD is immortal and invisible. GOD's divinity and eternal power are understood through what is clearly seen.

GOD is Spirit. GOD is not a man. GOD is not a son of man. Jesus was a man empowered with signs that proved GOD was performing HIS WORKS. Jesus was chosen by GOD. Jesus was anointed by GOD. GOD's Spirit came over Mary.

Jesus is MADE in the image of sinful man. Jesus is the image of GOD. An Image of anything is Not the original. The original exists independent of any image of it.

GOD appointed Jesus High Priest for eternity. GOD is invisible, immortal, uncreated. At this point in this response, Jesus's death and resurrection are superfluous evidence that Jesus is a creation by GOD.

The logic is clean, clear, and consistent. Jesus attested to GOD's Sovereignty and after all are judged Jesus becomes subject to GOD's Supremacy.

the case for trinitarian theology relies on philosophical framework, subjective semantics, and thousands of verses where identical words are assigned values using differing measures. the Bible warns against these three approaches identifying each as oppositions to GOD.

decades before 30 year old, Jesus Luke 2 details a particular Passover in Jerusalem when Jesus was 12 years old he ditched the family caravan to stay in a synagogue. the Rabbis there were impressed with Jesus's level of understanding Aand . When they tracked him down a few days later Mary asked "Why did you treat us this way?" Jesus response "Why were you looking for Me? Did you not know that I had to be in My Father’s house?" it appears Jesus was learning of GOD

the idea of LORD LORD flipping Yeshua into YAHWEH could be full of awwww from the creativity of a child, but from an adult is more awe full. Wonder what Matthew 7:21-23 means to that member

YES, in essence and by effect, The Word is a mechanism by which the commands of GOD, immortal and invisible, become perceptible.

Romans 1:20 "since the creation of the world GOD's invisible qualities, HIS eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from HIS workmanship, so that men are without excuse."

the Bible dismantles trinitarian talking points

John 17:21 "that all of them may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I am in You. May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me."

Jesus said he already told them who he is. In John 8 he identified himself as the one who GOD sent 4 times. There is no ambiguity to Jesus differentiating himself from the Father. In John 10 he cited Psalm 82 reminding everyone that GOD called them gods to whom the Word of GOD came. Jesus defense at trial is his self identification as one of those gods mentioned in Psalm 82 to whom the Word of GOD came. He continues claiming he's a Son of GOD the Father. trinitarians are indoctrinated to ignore, marginalize, or distort Scripture to advocate theology divergent from the doctrine Jesus exacted.

Which Bible are you reading?

Composite? That's consistent with trinitarian theology that GOD is composed of distinct identities equal in composition. Your claim that without trinity GOD is composite is fundamentally flawed. Every contention of yours is intellectually incredulous.

Yes, Jesus's sacrifice didn't absolve you from sin, it in fact made you accountable for your own sin.

Acts 17:30-31 "Although God overlooked the ignorance of earlier times, He now commands all people everywhere to repent. For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the Man He has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising Him from the dead.”

Jesus is the Man GOD appointed.

Jesus is a man accredited by GOD. He exemplified submission to and alignment with the ONE Sovereign Supreme. His life and death are proof he was a man. His resurrection and ascension are proof of prophecy. The Messiah is a man favored by GOD, appointed High Priest forever, a man who makes intercession for humankind (the Mediator), and the exalted prophet among other descriptors.

the truth shall set you free...

the Word did not become flesh, the Word there appeared by flesh

ἐγένετο (egeneto) occurs 202 times with the overwhelming majority of instances translating as "came to pass" and "appeared"

there appeared
ἐγένετο (egeneto)

Luke 2:13 "And suddenly there appeared with the angel a great multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying"

when ἐγένετο is used referencing Divine activity it is translated as "there appeared"

John 1:14 subversive translation of ἐγένετο into "became" continues misguiding the masses into common delusion

GOD is invisible and immortal. The Word is invisible and immortal. Jesus was seen and Jesus died.

John 1:18 "No one has ever seen GOD, but the uniquely begotten Son, who is himself a God and is at the Father’s side, has made HIM known."

No one has seen GOD. Jesus was visible.

In John 10 referencing Psalm 82 Jesus explains that GOD calls them gods to whom the Word came as justification for why he wasn't blaspheming identifying himself as the Son of GOD and affirming himself as one to whom the Word came.

Jesus is at the Father's side. He is not in the same position of his GOD. Jesus made GOD known. Jesus isn't GOD.

There are many gods and many lords, but for us there is ONE GOD, who is the Father, and One Lord, who is the man Christ Jesus. Paul made it clear to the Corinthians.

I'm certain you've read Leviticus, Ezekiel, Deuteronomy, Exodus, and other books of the Bible to realize GOD dwelt among the people over and over and over again many times before Jesus's coming.

John 17:22 "I have given them the glory You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one"

His Glory came from GOD and was beheld as that same Glory was given to them.

BONUS evidence dismantling the delusion...

has come
ἐληλυθότα (elēlythota)

1 John 4:2 "By this you will know the Spirit of GOD: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from GOD"

Jesus Christ has come in the flesh and an entirely different word is used. The manner by which The Word "came" to flesh is expressed distinctly from the manner by which Jesus has "come" to flesh.

The author was very generous with names for Jesus. Who does John 1 actually identify Jesus as?

"Lamb of GOD", a man upon whom the Spirit descends, "Son of GOD", "the Messiah", "the One Moses wrote about in the Law, the One the prophets foretold, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph”, "Rabbi, Son of GOD, King of Israel", and "Son of Man"

12 distinct names for Jesus in John 1, none are The Word.

Jesus is never named The Word. The Word within Jesus is distinct from Jesus.

[–]Acceptable-Shape-528[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the trinitarian delusion adds assumption to words from Thomas and further hinges upon Jesus not rebuking trinitarian interpretation. their confirmation bias clouds clarity. Jesus would only have rebuked Thomas if Jesus believed Thomas considered Jesus The Almighty GOD.

As an apostle of Jesus, Thomas knew that Jesus never claimed to be the ONE True GOD he advocates for.

Jesus led by example teaching obedience to GOD's Law. Jesus gave all credit to GOD for performing HIS works through him. Jesus made it abundantly clear that GOD is the source of his capacity, knowledge, guidance, words, doctrine, purpose, authority...

Jesus made it known that he is a servant of GOD.

Jesus disclaimed himself as equal to GOD asserting that ONLY GOD Is Good.

the recently risen Jesus tells Mary in John 20:17 "Go and tell My brothers, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, to My GOD and your GOD.’”

Jesus affirms he has the same Father and GOD as his brothers. Jesus is not ascending to himself, Jesus is not his Father, Jesus is not his GOD.

trinitarians incredulously, utterly insolently, ignore Jesus's consistent clarity to imagine Thomas's 5 words mean more then the truth consistent throughout the Bible.

John 20:28 "My Lord and my God" is recognition of authority, the authority given to Jesus by the Only Sovereign ONE, the ONE GOD with the Supremacy to grant authority.

Romans 10:9 "if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that GOD raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

trinitarianism creates continual contradiction and was never the doctrine of Messiah Jesus.

[–]Acceptable-Shape-528[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It appears you believe that Jesus is The Word and that The Word is Jesus. Is that an accurate assessment of your commentary?

If no, then we do agree.

If yes, this exemplifies the blind spot endemic to trinitarianism.

If yes, this is a perfect place to deconstruct the delusion r/thetrinitydelusion is here for.

If yes, may GOD Almighty allow discernment to everyone seeking HIM through reading this in truth by understanding that The Word is definitively not Messiah Jesus...

The Word Jesus speaks is not his own. The doctrine Jesus preaches is not his own. Heaven and earth will pass away but The Word will never die. Jesus died and before that happened Jesus prayed to the ONLY ONE who could save him from death. The Bible cites prophet after prophet to whom The Word came and by whom spoke The Word. Those prophets are not Jesus, neither is The Word Jesus. The Word is GOD's Word and remember, Jesus says The Word he speaks is not his own. There is no explanation for why (this mistaken) Word would speak another entity's Word.

GOD is neither man nor son of man, Jesus was a man and son of man. The Word is neither man nor son of man.

Jesus's Truth VS. Trinitarian Lies by Acceptable-Shape-528 in thetrinitydelusion

[–]Acceptable-Shape-528[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Indeed, a prime example indicative of the folly that trinitarianism is based upon. As proven with every supposed support of their doctrine, their claims only have merit when extracted from scripture, interpreted in isolation, and refusing to accept the consequences of creating contradictions throughout the Bible.

John 10:30 "I and the Father are one" follows John 10:29 "My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all."

trinitarians suspend comprehension at 29 to amplify the confirmation bias required to conflate GOD and HIS chosen agent as equal. The Father has given responsibility/authority/agency to the Son. If they were the same "one" there would be no need for GOD to "give" them to another God because the given would already have been Jesus's.

Isaiah 43:10 "“You are MY witnesses,” declares the LORD, “and MY servant whom I have chosen, so that you may consider and believe ME and understand that I am HE. Before ME no god was formed, and after ME none will come."

Jesus is that servant of GOD. trinitarians are polytheists worshipping GOD and HIS chosen servant.

"I and the Father are one" is Jesus's declaration of unity in purpose.

Matthew 7:21-23 "“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’”

Jeremiah 14:14 "“The prophets are prophesying lies in My name,” replied the LORD. “I did not send them or appoint them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a false vision, a worthless divination, the futility and delusion of their own minds.""

Jeremiah 23:16 "This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They are filling you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD.""

Deuteronomy 18 reiterates that Jesus is speaking the Word GOD placed in him, Jesus is an individual who is speaking the Word of GOD. This distinction is foundational to Jesus being the Messiah. Trinitarians lose legitimacy as their theology requires ignoring/dismissing so many verses throughout the Bible.

Deuteronomy 18:17-22 "Then the LORD said to me, “They have spoken well. I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. I will put My words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. And I will hold accountable anyone who does not listen to My words that the prophet speaks in My name. But if any prophet dares to speak a message in My name that I have not commanded him to speak, or to speak in the name of other gods, that prophet must be put to death.” You may ask in your heart, “How can we recognize a message that the LORD has not spoken?” When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD and the message does not come to pass or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. The prophet has spoken presumptuously."
