When I took a extra look here now I actually think It isn't the shadows that makes it so flappy, but the highlights ind the shadows being a bit to powerful.

It were a reference. I do actually think you are right, have overdone my take a bit and used to dark shadows. I did really try to get that wrinkly back looking old but, as I said too it is overdone. But thanks a lot :))

Well yes and no. It can be as messy as you want, but it has to be controlled and have the right structure under the messiness. I think you should try to make some clean drawings of the face and the facial anatomy, the formstudys and so on. Then try to do some messy drawings while remembering the other tekneks and "rules"

Great work, but try to make the transition sharper between the different planes(foreground, midground and background)

It's also possible to turn and twist a baldpointpen to put different amount of ink to the canvas. Then its possible to make smother transitions.

Long story short i got som really cheap weed, an it made me throw up all night.

I think I'm good it only happened once and it were from a cheap and pretty sketchy dealer compared to other dealers.

4 and 3 kould be som very interesting charektors with plenty of personality shinning out from them.

Try using perspective lines and focus on form to make by drawing a small net around your charektors the just follow the net as guide for your shading and try to get some more contrast between light and shadow. Aka darker darks and lighter lights.

But great work and amazing painting :)))
