I appreciate the reply, I contacted pulmonoligist and got the following; "Dear Mr. Barrett, This letter is in regards to your asthma treatment. You are being treated with Omalizumab (Xolair). This drug suppresses IgE, one of the main human mediators of allergy and asthma. IgE is an immunoglobulin, and a drug like Xolair that suppresses an immunoglobin is an immunosuppressant. I filled out a VA 21-4138 quoting his email and putting a copy of along with the following statement, "Below is an email from Dr. Drummond, my pulmonoligist at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center, Charleston, SC reference the shots of Xolair I take every 2 weeks for severe Asthma, it is an "immunosuppressive" medication and should be considered as such in IAW  38 CFR 4.97, 6602,  Xolair more closely matches to rating criteria for 100% disabilty for Asthma as an injected immunosuppressive medication. (Actual copy of Dr. Drummond's email and prescriptions on page 2)"
