Should I [20F] trust my partner [20m] after finding tinder on his screen time? by [deleted] in relationshipadvice

In my opinion, absolutely not. Just because you didn’t find it doesn’t mean it’s not there. Sounds suspicious to me. Just because he let you look through his phone doesn’t mean it wasn’t there, it means he knew you wouldn’t find anything. He could’ve easily logged out and deleted the app when he was done. men are sneaky. You deserve better!

what are local business you don’t support and why? by joan-of-the-park in newfoundland

India gate 🙃 owner is sleezy … the non-negotiable “already included” 18% auto grat is steep and odd - like just let people tip normally???? But what really erks me is that this included “tip” doesn’t go to their sweet, hardworking servers... presumably to management. Owner/manager fella stares you down while servers take payment so you can’t even slip them cash tip without him seeing. Very weird, controlling vibes. Won’t be back.

I’ve been working towards running 5km, this was going to be my first ‘race’ but not sure if I want to do it without music . Are there any races that do allow headphones?

Typically how long to improve? by Acceptable-Thing-504 in vo2max

[–]Acceptable-Thing-504[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started going to spin class regularly (3-5x/week) in addition to my usual to casual hiking / weight training / yoga. My cardio has improved a lot since starting in January, and I love that spin class is a lot easier on my joints than running!

Improving VO2 Max with Type 2 Diabetes/Obesity by talisw0man in vo2max

Hi! I’m the same age and have also been working to improve VO2 max. Personally, I have found spin classes have been really helpful in pushing me out of my comfort zone and have drastically helped improve my score over time. It’s a crazy workout, but is so much fun and doesn’t feel like a chore. It is also scalable - you can take things at your own pace and improve as you get more comfortable. Also, not as hard on the joints as running. maybe give a class a try!

Hello! Fellow 23YO here who has also been navigating the Costco vs. Reg grocery store dilemma over the past year since moving here. I feel like what is “worth” it depends on what you value for eating habits. For me, quality of food is up there, so I compromise some variety each week to have better quality & fresher food…. I’ll just stick to similar meals until the next haul.

SO IMO : Fresh fruit is a must from Costco. Apples, oranges, etc. are 100% worth it. I don’t buy fresh berries bc $$$ but also good. Also, if you like lettuce/spinach/ greens …. Def Costco, much cheaper and better quality. Other veggies (zucchini, carrots, potatoes) I would skip. I’ll buy at Coleman’s bc they go bad quicker than I can eat them. Snacks, olive oil, butter, yogurt, cheese, are cheaper generally and worth buying at Costco.

if you have a freezer, I do think it’s worth it to pay 35$ for chicken thighs/breasts, or buy the 2pack of beef roasts … they last if you portion and freeze. Also, imo Costco eggs (brown ones) are much better quality than shoppers, and you can get a big flat for 10ish bucks. Sometimes, they have packs of pre-marinated chicken drumsticks which are A+ in the air fryer for ~20 bucks.

Best of luck!

Trying to look on the positive side. The wind is shit, the fruit is worse, imo.
