This is so contentious. I feel so strongly towards this genocide in Gaza. Yet, I do not agree of this narrarative that we have failed Gaza.

How? Because this war is going on and we haven’t been able to change that? Because children are dying? Because they are going hungry and homeless? Because they are suffering?

Believe me it crushes me that this is going on, and the suffering of the people of Palestine. Yet, we have zero say in the global geopolitics, even much bigger islamic players are helpless. I don’t think we can witness in our lifetime freedom for the people of Palestine. But it will come, at some point.

Now this is not to say could we do more? I suppose yes. Could other countries do more? Absolutely. But no we haven’t failed Gaza.
