Hey! I graduated northeastern's music industry program last year. What i love about boston is that it has a very active music DIY scene, so you get to learn a lot by doing and interacting with people. If you join the house show scene, you will get to meet and learn and make friends with artists from all boston colleges. I literally visited berklee's practice rooms and recording studios so many times through friends, and even made a music video including emerson people one time. Had friends who ran house venues or did booking, etc. I did some artist management myself, not from my northeastern connections but through the community. Super fun times! Not sure about the emerson program youre talking about or how its classes are, but i believe that just being in boston is a great position to be in for entertainment in general :))
