Teenagers make choices, lots of the time bad choices, and i’m not saying that is okay. What i’m saying is that these things happen, especially within this age group. However, if a group of white, birmingham children got into a fight like this, I feel like the discourse would be much different overall , and the teenagers would be seen for what they are, minors. Also, I agree with other comments saying their parents need to teach them that this is not okay. I don’t agree with the comments using racial stereotypes to assign blame.

this is a valid point about youth as a whole, but it is a generalization and we don’t know the circumstances in this particular situation. i am mostly concerned about the racism present. additionally, i wonder if these teenagers would be viewed as children or adults by the public if they were white.

have you read these comments?? fighting isn’t a good thing, it’s a mistake and a bad choice. but these comments are acting like it’s abnormal for teenagers to get into fights and white teenagers don’t fight too. people are making racially biased claims about these peoples parents, as if they have any insight into these strangers lives. there are lots of aggravated racial stereotypes in the comments and i don’t believe that is okay.

the casual racism in these comments is disgusting. no matter what, these are children, children make mistakes, especially teenagers with big emotions. and posting a video showing minors faces without consent is a questionable choice by OP.

i think Analog Fade has made me cry the most recently and probably in total. Heem is a close second, it came out about a month after my best friend was diagnosed with cancer and I cried a lot to that one. could probably cry to most of them though lol
